Konami 054544 Reproduction Sound Module

Designed and constructed in Australia by cwispy.

These modules have been designed so that all components on the top side of the board, unlike the original modules which are now failing and have components on both the top and bottom of the board. This module uses tantalum capacitors instead of electrolytic eliminating the risk of the capacitors failing and damaging the circuit board.

These modules do not include the ASIC and DAC chips. These must be removed from the old board and soldered onto this module. Surface mount soldering/de-soldering skills are required to perform this task and should only be attempted by those with the relevant skills.
