The Japanese made Hirose CR7E-56DA-3.96E was the standard JAMMA connector used in almost all candy cabs in the 90's and still considered top of the line. It features a strong grip and gold plated connectors.

The Z-JAMMA 56P-3.96S connector is popular due to its grip being not too tight and not too loose. No more "kung-fu grip" action when removing your boards or weak connections causing connectivity issues. Well priced and high quality.
