Hirose CR-1-GPIN (JAMMA Key)

Inserting polarising keys in all of your JAMMA edge connectors is a must!

The key blocks pin-7 on your edge connector to prevent inserting JAMMA boards incorrectly (upside "parts side" down). Doing so can cause all kinds of problems and is one of the most common killers of arcade PCB's.

This high quality, custom moulded part is manufactured by Hirose in Japan. Hirose are responsible for the legendary "CR7E-56DA-3.96E" connector which was used in most candy cabs of the 90's.

These G-Pins have been an EOL product and discontinued for quite some time, however we have a small amount of stock available for those absolutely requiring the OG, otherwise we recommend the CR-6-GPIN which functions exactly the same at half the price.

3D equivalents exist, but in our unfortunate experience, they degraded over time leaving broken bits of filament in our connectors which were a pain to clear.

NOTE: This key will not work on Egret 2 cabs due to its unique GEC-561 JAMMA connector manufactured by JST.
